I administered our CentOS 7 environments that power the company's product, mostly running Ruby on Rails with nginx, PostgreSQL databases, on multiple AWS accounts.  I used bash and python for automation, Terraform to provision and maintain our various AWS resources, Puppet and Ansible for configuration management, and Datadog for APM and alerting.  I was in the middle of a project to move our stack to Kubernetes.  I also administered our Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet firewalls for multiple offices.  Finally, i managed our Desktop Support team.

I was the lead systems engineer for various shopping.com development teams, including search, consumer sites, and publisher; i provided support for developers, wrote and improved homebrewed deployment & Nagios monitoring scripts.  I was also the lead systems engineer for the shopping.com/eBay search integration project; during that time, i set up a proof-of-concept Hadoop/HBase/Zookeeper/Oozie cluster for search index generation and also acted as project manager.
