Pro: Docs were the shoe of choice for angst-ridden youth
     during the late 80s.
Con: You aren't an angst-ridden youth, and this isn't the 80s.

Shoes are just like other clothes.  If you need a cool pair
of boots, what you need is a good eye and a lot of patience.
